Productivity of the most of the crops except rice was higher in Arukharka VDC.  Most of the respondents in both VDC reared medium level of livestock units (1-2.5 LSU).  Mode of protection of farm yard manure (FYM), FYM cover, Placing of FYM after carrying to the field and composting were found highly significant while, drying of FYM before carrying to the field and time of use of FYM were found non-significant between the two VDCs.
